Dental Benefits Administer Hit by Cyberattack in Alberta

The Alberta Dental Service Corporation (ADSC) was recently hit by a cyberattack, leading to approximately 1.47 million people’s data being compromised. Banking information was included in around 7,300 of these cases.

ADSC gained assistance from cyber security experts to contain the attack and conduct a thorough investigation. They were able to recover the compromised systems and data with minimal loss.

The incident has been reported to law enforcement, according to the ADSC, and they have implemented further safety protocols.
